We are dealing with a very fine Malbec which offers excellent value for money.
In an ideal year 2018 while remaining fresh, we obtain an energetic wine but with a contained maturity with a lot of depth.
On the nose: blueberries, blackberries, plum, sour cherry, mint and violets enhanced with an orange zest.
The mouth and the finish are on the fruit, accompanied by a beautiful minerality. The wine is deep, ample and long.
To be enjoyed with game birds.

The intense, high-pitched 2018 Aluvional Gualtallary has finesse, which is the challenge in this very wild area of Valle de Uco. It's a powerful area due to the light and the cold nights, which makes it difficult to achieve elegance in the wines, but they have been working in that direction. As with other 2018s, the aromas and flavors are fully developed, so there is more complexity, nuance and depth than in the 2017s, which matured faster and earlier. A superb mineral Gualtallary, with a restrained and wild maturity. 8,000 bottles were filled in August 2019.

Zuccardi's Malbec Aluvional (Gualtallary) 2018, hailing from the Uco Valley, was aged in 30% French oak barrels for 12 months. The dress is a dark and lively purple. The compact nose offers ripe fruits such as plum and sour cherry, as well as hints of jarilla and mint on an oak background. The terroir and the vintage give the 2018 an almost syrupy tone. The palate is juicy and powerful, with lots of alcohol and good volume. The body fills out while maintaining a firm structure. The finish is purely fruity and has an excellent balance between energy and depth.
