An Icon: Thanks to its cuvées The Laird and Runrig, Torbreck is among the 4 most renowned winemakers in Australia along with Penfolds, Henschke and Standish.
Blackberries, blueberries, cherries and dark berries blossom and are enhanced with notes of violets, rose and spice; the wine is full-bodied but almost creamy with velvety tannins that coat the palate with a velvety feel. The finish is long and rewarding.
Superb from start to finish!
To be enjoyed with a game bird, a lamb shank or a rib of beef.

Torbreck's RunRig 2018 needs some air now, as the nose and mouth really open up and expand after a while in the glass. Unlike some vintages, it's rather tight and cedar from the first glass, then relaxes to reveal notes of stone fruit, blueberries, cherries, pastry crust and bakery spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied and concentrated, richly textured and marked by ripe tannins, which leave behind a velvety and enveloping finish, tinged with liquorice and black berries. Although it's accessible today - and even damn enjoyable - it deserves several more years in the cellar. Drink the 2018 Descendant while you wait.

The wine to taste, with tight but cashmere tannins, soft oak and knife-cutting minerality. The palate with accents of anise, clove and cinnamon is incredibly slender, like melted chocolate. On the second day, succulent spiced cherries appear, accompanied by blackberry liqueur, roses and violets. Tasty notes of boletus, graphite and cedar continue on an endless finish. A stunning blend of six old vineyards, one of which was planted in the 1850s.

This very complex wine already shows aromas of blackberries, tar and dried spices, as well as blueberries and light grassy notes. Blackberries and dark plums, reminiscent of gasoline, are delivered in a rich style full of flavor. An excellent old vine Shiraz from an exceptional vintage. Try it from 2026.

98% Shiraz, 2% Viognier from six different rainfed vineyards in Lyndoch, Rowland Flat, Moppa, Ebenezer, Light Pass and Greenock with an average age of 30 years. Harvested from February 20 until April 13. This wine is probably produced in fairly large quantities today. Aged on lees for 30 months in French barrels (50% new) with malo supplemented in barrel.
Dark blackish crimson. Very intense nose, almost an elixir. Another very smooth wine - it practically massages the palate. It seems, however, that there are storage tannins hiding under the blackberries. At the end of the mouth, we witness a real and interesting battle between freshness and heat! This wine has a lot of depth and potential, but it's not ready yet, unlike most 2018s from Torbreck.

Pinot Lorem is very painful, it will be followed by a doctor, but it will happen at the same time as a lot of work and pain. For to come to the smallest detail, no one should practice any kind of work unless he derives some benefit from it. Do not be angry with the pain in the reprimand in the pleasure he wants to be a hair from the pain in the hope that there is no breeding. Unless they are blinded by lust, they do not come out; they are in fault who abandon their duties and soften their hearts, that is toil. It's important to take care of yourself.
