A very beautiful Australian Chardonnay with character.
Still young, he needs another year to offer himself in his best light. You can also drink it today, but it will need to be decanted for at least 4 hours.
Beautiful aromas of white peaches and especially citrus fruits are supported on the palate by a powerful and elongated acid structure, all embellished by a flavor / taste of flint and yeast which adds to the complexity. Tasty and refreshing.

I love the aromas of flint and "funk", but when I opened this wine for the first time I got scared. It was a matchbox factory. Some Chardonnays need to be decanted and wait. Once made, this wine then shows both its power and its balance, its flavors of grapefruit, apple and stone fruits skillfully mingling with cedar, oatmeal, almond milk and matches. . It has a quartz aspect, a silky sheen. He is slim, but he is not thin; its fruit is extremely powerful. It should be consumed in a pretty sensational way, in a suitable glass, in 2-4 years.

Light yellow to medium yellow color. Discreet bouquet of almonds, nuts and slightly sulphurous - the fruit is somewhat reserved and little evolved, perhaps overshadowed by the presence of artefacts at this point.
