A superb Sauternes which has a very high consistency of perception by all of the world's critics. Overall, it evolves in a narrow rating range of 94 to 96 and is unanimous.
It can be drunk today but will benefit from being cellared for another 2 to 3 years, which will improve its complexity and allow the nose to express itself more than it does today.
The somewhat reticent nose hints at aromas of pastry lemon, pineapple, pear, apple, quince, crème brulée, orange zest, accompanied by scents of orange blossom and honeysuckle.
On the palate, the wine is soft, rich and opulent with a very good balance between the acid line and the richness of the botrytised fruit.

To be enjoyed with pan-fried foie gras, blue cheese or crème brulée with candied oranges.

Robert Parker : 95/100

The 2015 Coutet is pale lemon in color with intense notes of grapefruit, lemon tart and pineapple with hints of crushed rock, honeycomb and lime zest plus a flood of orange blossom. Rich, plush and layered with lots of tropical and citrus notes, it has wonderful freshness and a long finish.

Wine Spectator : 95/100

Flattering, with a blend of pineapple, peach, pear and yellow apple flavors that deliver both highs and lows. The finish is golden with heather and lemon curd, with a hint of crisp turnover that should blossom with age. Best consumed between 2020 and 2040. 4583 cases produced.

Jeb Dunnuck: 96/100

The 2015 Château Coutet is a divine dessert wine, with a huge nose of caramelized citrus, crème brûlée, tangerine and honeysuckle. With immense richness and sweetness, moderate acidity, a thick, oily mouthfeel and a sensational finish, it's at the limit of what's possible while keeping its cohesion. It will be interesting to see how it evolves, but it looks undeniably gorgeous today.

The French Wine Review: 19/20

A light spice and a touch of reduction keep the fruit from fully engaging on the nose. It is in the mouth that it expresses all the energy of the Barsac subsoil. And what a finish on a note of white peach.

RVF Guide - 2019

James Suckling : 94/100

Concentrated, creamy and elegant, this is a beautiful Barsac with a delicate character of exotic fruit and a very long and rather oily finish. You can drink it now, but it will gain a lot with age.

James Suckling – February 5, 2018

Vinous : 95/100

The 2015 Coutet is a little reduced on the nose and lacks the fragrance of some of its peers. Pinched right now - maybe sulking? The palate is well balanced and very harmonious, viscous in texture with perfectly matched acidity and fine delineation and precision towards the end. Once the bouquet kicks in, it should be a Barsac/Sauternes of great finesse. Tasted blind during the 2019 Bordeaux Southwold tasting.

Jancis Robinson : 18/20 (96,5/100)

Quite dense and spicy without being too sweet. Lots of density and extremely hard to spit! Long and believable. Good flavor too. You could already drink it, but that would probably be a mistake. Lots of power.

Falstaff: 94/100

Reinforced golden yellow, silver reflections, honey of fine flowers, ripe quince, nuances of yellow fruits, candied orange zest. Juicy, balanced and elegant, good muscle, integrated wood spice, fine sweetness on the finish, so far only medium in length, will pick up in the bottle.

Peter Moser - 14 mars 2019.

Wine Enthusiast : 96

The wine is ripe, yet elegant and pure. It has a great balance between lively acidity and rich fruitiness. This is a very fine wine with great aging potential, as it portends a more opulent future.

The Pinot's pain is the love itself, the main storage problems, but I give this kind of time to cut down as much pain and pain as any. In order that for the most part, any one of us will come to the exercise of any kind of employment except to take advantage of the objectives from it. But the pain in the film is irure to condemn, in the pleasure it wants to escape from the pain of being clum in pain, none result. They are the exceptions the blinds yearn for, they don't see, they are the ones who abandon their responsibilities to the fault that is soothing the soul's hardships.
