A very large Malbec from Argentina with a personality that totally reflects the place where it was grown: with a limestone sensation, it is a precise, mineral, pure, textured and balanced wine.
It combines notes of black tea with scents of violet and lavender, with a palis on the cherry, all with powdery tannins and the hint of acidity which ensures the overall balance.
To be enjoyed with Osso Buco or braised oxtail.

The 2020 Fortuna Terrae from the Adrianna vineyard is exceptionally well presented. It's still young and juicy with some baby fat that should be released with a bit more bottle time. It's a little lighter, and the tannins have given it grip and a chalky chalky feel. But the wine is very expressive, with purity, clean and precise and shows no signs of coming from a warmer year like 2020. It ends with the telltale violets of the great Malbec varietal coated in chalky minerality. This plot does well in warmer years like this. It was bottled in October 2021. 5,400 bottles produced.

Blackberries with a little black tea and perfumes. Full-bodied, with fine, dusty tannins and flawless texture. So long and consistent. Fermentation in whole bunches at 60% and 14 months in oak barrels. A glorious and tactile wine. Drinkable now, but better in three or four years.

The Malbec Adrianna Vineyard Fortuna Terrae 2019 is made with grapes from plot 6 of the Adrianna vineyard in the Uco Valley, planted in Gualtallary at an altitude of 4,400 feet and aged for 18 months in new French barrels and second use. The pure, intense and precise nose offers delicate fruits such as sweet cherry and sour cherry, as well as notes of lavender and violets and light herbal aromas. The palate is relaxed and juicy, with subtle, finely grainy tannins and some chalk. The finish is lengthened by fruity flavors. The year has contributed to the nuanced freshness of this Malbec.
