wow. This wine exhibits amazing aromas of cherries and berries with hints of wet earth, warm stone and violets. Full body. Very dense and layered with creamy notes and floral undertones. Round and creamy tannins are very beautiful. The center of the palate is intense. Hard not to drink it now, but it will get better with time. Screw cap.

It was formerly a Stevens Shiraz, but it's been named appropriately to more accurately refer to the source of the fruit, which comes from 50-year-old vines around the Old Patch.
